Gary McCready is a distinguished commercial leader with a proven track record across the UK, Europe, and the US. His extensive experience includes playing a key role in launching TalkTalk Broadband, mobile joint ventures with Best Buy and Verizon in the US and delivering record profits as Finance Director at Carphone Warehouse. Gary is celebrated for his passionate, engaging, and inspirational leadership. Most recently, he has been pivotal in driving Currys’ award-winning virtual mobile network, iD, to achieve record growth. Helping iD deliver a 270% increase in the subscriber base since his arrival in 2022, reaching over 2.5 million subscribers.

Gary sits on the board of the Women’s Network at Currys and plays a leading role as a male ally.

Outside of his professional career, Gary has competed in international triathlons for the past 20 years and has represented Team GB as an age-grouper five times in European and World Championships.
