A law graduate from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), she has dedicated her career to the field of telecommunications and connectivity in Mexico. Since 2021, she has held the role of founding Leader and CEO of the Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) JRmovil, where she has deployed an exemplary strategic vision and leadership. His work at the head of JRmovil has been characterized by the forging of strategic alliances with various sectors, both public and private, with the aim of bringing communication services to rural and remote areas of Mexico. Thanks to his perseverance, innovation and dedication to work, he has managed to consolidate the company's presence in the telecommunications market.

In January 2023, this visionary professional created the "Mexican Association of Mobile Virtual Network Operators" (AMOMVAC), an initiative aimed at promoting collaboration and joint growth of mobile virtual network operators in Mexico.

Her commitment to equitable access to information and communication technologies has led her to actively participate in different projects such as the "Alliance for Connectivity", which seeks to ensure the interests of small and medium-sized operators in Mexico.

In its tireless search to bring meaningful connectivity in 2024, it launched the Mujer Móvil project, to which it added valuable services to connectivity, such as Telemedicine, Geolocation and Financial Services in the same application, this combating many types of violence that are exercised on women (patrimonial violence, physical violence, psychological violence, among others), in addition to preventing the disappearance of women and above all generating a network that keeps us safe.

In this context, their work has become a fundamental pillar in bringing connectivity closer to different segments of the population. With a clear focus on social responsibility, Rocío Villanueva has focused her efforts on raising awareness in society about human rights and access to information and communication technologies. His vision transcends business boundaries to embrace a commitment to the general well-being, standing out for his significant contribution to the construction of a more connected and inclusive Mexico.
