Gilberto Mayor holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from USC, where he published several influential papers on networking. He was a lecturer at UCLA during the tenure of Leonard Kleinrock, the pioneer of the Internet, as Head of the Computer Science Department. Following his academic career, he worked at McKinsey and played key roles in several major ISPs.

Leveraging his expertise in Networks and AI, he founded Beegol, an AI-driven diagnostic and self-healing platform for broadband networks. His work focuses on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Networks, driving innovation in network optimization and automation.
