Benton Gong is Chief Information Officer and Head of Technology & Operations at DBS Bank (China). He is responsible for the strategic planning and management of technology applications, information infrastructure, and operational functions. Since joining DBS in 2021, Mr. Gong has successfully driven the bank's digital transformation and sustained business growth.

With over three decades of experience in financial technology, Mr. Gong has extensive expertise in integrating technology and operations management within multinational financial institutions.

Before joining DBS, he served as Chief Operating Officer at The Bank of East Asia (China) Limited. Earlier in his career, he held several senior management positions at HSBC Group, including Chief Technology Officer, China; Head of Business Innovation, and Chief Operating Officer, China; Director of Risk and Administration at HSBC Bank plc, UK; Execution Lead, APAC at HSBC Global Services (Hong Kong) Limited.Mr. Gong graduated from Fudan University with a bachelor's degree in computer science.
