Graystone Strategy, a global leader of strategic consultancy to the mobile and telecoms industry, has been named Informa’s preferred training and consulting partner for its prestigious MVNOs World Conference.

James Gray, managing director of Graystone Strategy, has chaired Informa’s MVNO Connect and MVNOs World series for the last three years. In that time the conference has grown significantly, welcoming ambitious leaders from across the globe.

James explains that the partnership will give MVNOs World attendees even more access to world-class insight: “The mobile industry is constantly changing and adapting to regulatory change, commercial pressure and new innovations. To cement the relationship, James will chair the event in May in Vienna, and he will run three exclusive masterclasses in keeping with the theme of ‘next generation MVNO’.

The masterclasses follow a successful trial at MVNOs World Congress in 2024, where attendees rated the classes ‘Excellent’ and on average scored the sessions 4.8/5.

The classes will focus on the most important topics of launching a new MVNOs, covering negotiating wholesale agreements, commercial considerations and the rules for establishing successful working partnerships, and best practice for developing propositions that stand out in the market.

James will be joined by Erick O’Connor, a specialist in MVNO negotiation, commercial modeling, and go-to-market strategy. Together the pair will impart their collective 60 years of experience in launching global MVNO brands.
