With each of the categories, the judges will be looking for some of the following qualities that best describe the entry and denotes why it should be a worthy winner. Has your entry got what it takes?
We recognize that it may be difficult to stand out from the crowd when there are so many amazing innovations and forward thinkers in the industry. Have you highlighted your best successes? Have you demonstrated how your entry is solving problems? Are you putting your best foot forward?
The judges are sifting through many nominations so make sure that it is simple, to the point and articulates what you want the industry to know about. Stick to the text limit - word-heavy nominations will make readers switch off!
Does your nomination take the judges on a journey to understand the focus of the entry? Does it explain the initial problem/challenge, and how it was overcome to illustrate the successes? The entry is not an ego boost, we need to know the reasons and experience behind the nomination.
No nomination is big or small. The judges will be looking for the impact piece and how it has truly transformed networks and operations and what the ramifications has been for customers and user interfaces - does your entry demonstrate this despite the project size?
Don't wait until the last minute to submit your entry. Think about what why you want to submit it, use a fresh pair of eyes to look over to see if they get the essence of your nomination and use spell check before submitting. It is difficult to be coherent when your mind is on the clock.
It is difficult to choose the highlights of your entry. Be selective and think about the pieces of information that are crucial that truly enhances the nomination that you are submitting. The judges don't want to be drowned in information!
We have allowed supporting documentation to support your nomination. Use it to your advantage, whether it is a picture to highlight the content, a paper to support a solution or a graph to justify the results of a long project. Don't overload but make sure you are amplifying your entry.
