Profile

Giovanni in his current role, is the Strategy and Advanced Technology Leader for the Optical Networks Division at Nokia. Previously, Giovanni held the Global Product Management role including several other senior leadership roles at Alcatel-Lucent, LG-Ericsson and at Nortel. He has over 30+ years’ experience in the Telecommunications industry with expertise of fiber optic transmission, wavelength division multiplexing, OTN switching, Fixed Networks, Enterprise, Wireless and Manufacturing Operations.

He has several patents in the optical transmission domain. Giovanni received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada where he specialized in telecommunications.
