Profile

Valéry Augais is a senior network architect in optical engineering at Colt Technology Services. He joined Colt engineering department in 1998 as an access and metro technologies specialist. He then worked on various packet-optical design activities (carrier Ethernet, network layer 1-2-3 integration, mobile backhaul, FTTx) and conducted research on SDN and analytics in the optical area. His current focus is on SDN for transport network and open transport networking. Valéry holds two M.Sc. degrees in Telecommunications and Computing from Telecom ParisTech and UPMC University, France.
