Maria Teresa is responsible for the external marketing of Adtran’s portfolio of open networking solutions. Passionate not only about technology innovation but also its applications, she is responsible for analyzing and explaining the use cases and benefits of Adtran’s new optical transport products, technologies and solutions. She identifies key market demands and challenges and translates them into highly competitive solutions based on Adtran’s optical products.

Maria Teresa has more than 20 years of experience in the telecom industry and extensive knowledge of fiber-optic transmission technologies. After working for Ericsson Spain as a network solutions engineer, Maria Teresa moved to Munich and joined ADVA (now part of Adtran) in September 2001, where she has worked in multiple areas, such as technical sales, bid management, go-to-market and product marketing. She holds a master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Polytechnic University (UPM), Madrid, Spain.
