Nextwear Technologies
Nextwear Technologies is the very first wearable technology startup in Nigeria, and inventor of a smart bra that can detect breast cancer in its earliest stages.
Founder Bolarinwa is a Robotics Engineer and women in STEM advocate, whose work in the field of wearable technology is groundbreaking. Using nanotechnology, the smart bra uses small sensors that are simple and safe to use, cause no harm to body tissue, and mean that women can conduct a check in the privacy of their own home in just a few short minutes.
The invention is not designed to replace a standard bra or be worn for extended periods of time, but rather just to conduct a check, eliminating the need for a hospital visit for a mammogram appointment.

Providing affordable and accessible healthcare solutions is at the heart of Zuri Health.
Founded in February 2020, our journey started with a vision. A vision for quality, affordable and on- demand healthcare for all with a simple swipe. We are creating an all-inclusive service that caters for all individuals with a mobile device, regardless of their location, health history and social status.

One HealthTech is a global, distributed, volunteer-led community that exists to drive better equality, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in health innovation.
The OHT community supports and promotes under-represented groups to be future leaders in health innovation, attracting members from many different sectors, countries and backgrounds, and includes health and care providers, startups, corporates, academics and charities, as well as individual chaos-creating innovators.
