Bradwin Roper holds a BSc Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town; an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and a post graduate diploma in Digital Business Strategy and Transformation from Emeritus and MIT. He is the former CEO of FNB Connect where he was integral in leading the world’s best digital mobile virtual network operator. Previously, Roper worked with Unilever where he was a Business Process Engineer for Africa, the Middle East and Turkey. Roper has an impressive career spanning almost a decade at executive level in the fields of Financial Services and FMCG. He has recently joined MTN South Africa as their chief financial services officer. His appointment is a deliberate move from MTN as it pushes forward in its evolution from telco to techco. Roper is also a former Mail and Guardian top 200 young South Africans; which he received while serving and CEO of FNB in Lesotho
