Patrick Johnson is vice president of the Mixed Signal and FPGA business units at Microchip Technology Inc., where he oversees the groups’ wide range of mixed signal analog devices, FPGAs, timing solutions and security products in addition to leading the company’s corporate marketing initiatives. Prior to this role, he served as vice president of the computing product group and led Microchip’s strategic global account organization.
Johnson joined Microchip in 2004, leading the development and launch of Microchip’s 32-bit microcontroller product line. Before joining Microchip, he was at Intel Corporation for 16 years. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Kettering University and is based at Microchip’s corporate headquarters in Chandler, Arizona.
