Shumpei KawasakiCEO at SH Consulting KK
Shumpei currently works for SH Consulting KK. He has been working on secure OS development since 2001 when he started to develop an in-house Java Card. He codeveloped a secure OS later adopted by a leading smartphone supplier deployed industry-wide. Prior to this Shumpei and 20 other inventors invented "16 bit fixed length RISC instruction" fo SH series micro-controller later adopted by ARM (Thumb), and MIPS (MIPS16). He also worked on joint projects with NXP (then Motorola) and developed DMA Controller for 68000, with Xerox PARC on AI Coprocessor, and with Fujitsu on TRON Floating-Point Coprocessor. He received B.A. in mathematics from Knox College, and M.S. in Computer Science from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
