Dr. Jungwirth is currently a researcher at the US Army Research Lab, Computational & Information Sciences Directorate. He previously worked for the US Army Aviation and Missile, RDEC. His current research covers hardware level security primitives for cybersecurity. His recent publications include: "Hardware Security Kernel for Cyber Defense" SPIE Defense + Commercial Sensing 2019, and "Security Tag Fields and Control Flow Management" IEEE SouthEastCon 2019. He is a co-inventor of patent 9,122,610 "OS Friendly Microprocessor Architecture" which provides hardware level cybersecurity features.
